happy birthday, sis!

This past weekend my sister celebrated her 29th birthday.  That's right, it's the start of the official countdown to the big three-zero!  She sent me this video of my niece a couple weeks ago - Adelynn is a spitting image of my sister.  Boy I can't wait to see them in just a few short weeks.

This week has really been a crazy one.  I am so thankful the weekend is here and I can finally kick up my feet and relax.  One thing that helped me get through this week was a hilarious video my sister sent me of my niece, Adelynn.  I have watched it over and over and laugh out loud every time.  I decided to share it with you and I hope it brings a smile to your face too!

One of my daily reads, written by Naomi, posted a funny animal video today. It reminded me of a video that I saw a little while back posted by Joanna. I thought it was so cute and I want to share it so you can enjoy it with me.

classic memories

During our pillow talk last night, my hubby and I were reminiscing about some of the old sitcoms we used to watch when we were younger. We were both listing of some of our favorites and often said, "Oh yeah! I forgot about that show, that was a good one!" Although I can't deny the fact that I am a reality t.v. junkie now (Real Housewives, Bethenny Getting Married, The City, and House Hunters to name a few), I truly miss some of the great classics. Every once and a while I like turn on T.V. Land and simply relax and enjoy some timeless television. I think the black and white episodes are probably my favorite.
