Happy Anniversary, my love! What a journey it has been. This next year will be the most exciting yet as we take on the roles of mommy and daddy. How fun it will be! There is no one else in the whole wide world that could be a better partner, thank you for being so amazing. And happy 20 weeks to baby! We are half way there :)

our anniversary date

For our anniversary last week, we decided to start with dinner at Jason's Deli.  This is actually the very same restaurant where we went on our very first date over five years ago.  I decided to break away from my usual faves at Jason's and ordered a french dip....I think I am too much of an Arby's junkie because this one just wasn't quite what I was hoping for; it was just okay.  Even still, I had a wonderful time with my hubby.  It's always a treat when we get to go out.
For dessert, we headed over to Melting Pot (thanks again, LivingSocial!).  We each got a plate of yummy treats and chose the Cookies and Cream chocolate fondue.  Oh. My. Word.  It was so incredibly good; I am pretty sure we both got high off of all the sugar.  Neither of us could even finish our plates; it was such a sweetness overload, but so so so so delicious!

three years

Happy Anniversary to the most amazing guy this girl could ask for.  It's crazy that it has been three years already and at the same time it seems like we've been married forever.  I just feel so blessed to have such an amazing partner in this life.  I love you Jas!!

savannah, ga

Jason and I fell in love with Savannah.
This being our first time there, we weren't sure what to expect. We did have a few bumps in the road with some customer services issues, but we were not going to let it ruin the trip. And it surely didn't.
Savannah is breathtaking. It is rich with character and history. From the unique homes, beautiful neighborhood squares, quaint corner cafes and people riding their bikes and walking their dogs; it made this city quite appealing. Plus I am pretty sure we went at the best time of the year because the weather was perfect.
Savannah is for sure a place that we would love to visit again. And if you ever get the chance to go, I would totally recommend it.
A few spots we especially loved were the Colonial Cemetery, the Firefly Cafe and the Paris Market.

we're off . . .

My hubby and I are headed down to Savannah, GA to celebrate our anniversary a little early.
It is officially our two year anniversary on October 12. yay!!
Neither of us have been to Savannah before, so we are looking forward to a new adventure.
Any suggestions of what we should do??
