that one time hubby was actually right

I have been trying to stay active and get some form of exercise most days of the week.  On Tuesday night, I really wanted to get out of the house and take Jack for a walk.  I invited hubby along, but he was hesitant.  Here is how the conversation went:
Hubby - It's about to rain.
Me - Well then lets hurry up before it comes!
Hubby - We are gonna get caught in the rain, but okay.
Me - We are not gonna get caught in the rain.  Let's go!

And so we started the journey in our neighborhood.  It began to sprinkle in a few spots, but didn't seem too bad.  Then the sky opened up; and it began to downpour.  We were too far from home, so we ran to a nearby vacant home and got shelter under the front porch.  We waited there for about 10ish minutes and the rain was not slowing up.  So we decided to make the mad dash home.  We. were. soaked.

Once the rain finally stopped (about 30 minutes later) there was a double rainbow. It was pretty amazeballs.

This is exactly the sort of thing that would happen to me - I can imagine that conversation with my husband!!!!

I love double rainbows, they're like magic.

It's healthy to get caught in the rain every once in a while. Good for the soul.

Hahah! I hate when I have to say "you're right" ;) This happened to us once on the beach and one or our dogs took off up into the neighborhood. Now I know he's for himself in an emergency ;)
