We really did have quite the eventful holiday weekend; filled with mostly fun times, but there was one tragic event - my hubby hurt his pinky finger. We were at the park waiting for the 4th of July celebration to start when Jason decided to try and be a good samaritan. A boy had gotten his toy plane stuck up in a tree and they weren't having any luck getting it down. Jason was trying to get it down with a slingshot and on one of his attempts to hit the plane, the rock did not go high enough, so he figured he would catch it on its way down. The rock hit his pinky straight on and created a tiny chip on his bone. Although it was small, it still hurt pretty bad.
